Epson New Inkjet Print head L1440, S3200 and F1440
Update: In Shanghai APPPEXPO 2019, Epson launches three types of micro piezo printhead, that is L1440 series, S3200 series and F1440 series.
L series:
Epson L1440 series is one kind of industry-class inkjet print head with fast speed, high precision, durability, and persistence.
?The resolution is 1440DPI.
?The nozzles are not easily clogged due to large droplet size, even low-cost ink is available.
?Long lifespan.
??Compatible with multi-color combinations. A single head can achieve 4-color printing at 360dpi or 8-color printing at 180dpi.
?Variable dot control technology, achieve grayscale printing, bring high saturated color presentation.
?Compact design, easier to insert and remove flat cables.
?Support for ink cleaning, convenient for further maintenance.
L1440-A1: For water-based ink.
L1440-U2: For UV ink.
F series
F1440-A1 For water-based and eco solvent ink.
?Compatible with multi-color combinations. A single head can achieve 4-color printing at 360dpi or 8-color printing at 180dpi.

?Featuring small droplet and high firing frequency, able to print at high speed while no need to sacrifice image quality.
S series
S3200-U1: For UV ink.
?Epson S3200-U1 printhead has 8 lines of nozzles, with 400 nozzles per line, giving a total of 3200 nozzles.
?Dual row nozzle resolution is 600dpi.
?Long lifespan.
?Printhead Size:120mm
?Adopt variable drop control technology to achieve multi-gray print.
?Able to run a various single-pass print system.
But as we know, the life span of Epson nozzles has been very short. In most cases, it can only be applied to civilian printers and assembly printers.
